I am Janicza Bravo. I live in Los Angeles.
I spent half my life in Panama and half in Brooklyn.
I studied directing and design for theatre at NYU (Playwrights Horizons).
I have mounted productions in New York, LA and Madrid.
I am a writer and a director.
recently, i wrapped production on my first narrative short film, EAT.
we’ve screened at SXSW and at the Cannes Film Festival’s, Short Film Corner.
in August we will screen as part of Henry Millers Library International Shorts in Big Sur.
