The Woman Next Door
My pal Hannah is visiting Los Angeles for a couple of weeks. On her first night my love and I treated her to a Truffaut double feature at the New Beverly. We hadn’t seen either film and we were really looking forward to it. It had been a while since I’d seen two movies back to back. I have (self diagnosed) sleep induced lights out syndrome. That means I fall asleep at the movies a lot. Anyways I’m not going to get into a paltry review of both films. I don’t see myself as a critic and don’t think it’s so useful really unless you’re sitting with friends over drinks and really cutting into the meat. What I will say is that they were both excellent and worth the time.
