there is this thing that happens almost anywhere in this world
if i see a black woman who is about my age i am transfixed by her
the way she wears her hair, the way her clothes wear her
her gesture.
at times my situation has felt so grim that i wonder if hers is almost identical
i have always only had a handful of black friends and so thats probably why.
