August is our zebra finch, he has the orange beak
We got him last year when I was working on Strindberg’s Miss Julie
He was clearly the star of the play and is obviously named after August Strindberg
400 was the black and white, a model in our hearts
They were best pals/ they slept in their food tray together every night and literally did everything together
as much as you can do in a cage
Last night we lost 400/ today we bury him
